Alondra Nelson is the Harold F. Linder Professor at the Institute for Advanced Study. Her research explores emerging scientific and technological phenomena, their intersections with rights, and their implications for justice and democracy. She is the author of The Social Life of DNA (Beacon Press, 2016) and co-author of Auditing AI (MIT Press, 2026).
